1-Press SEL(√) button when displayed as on the right.

2- To make an automatic assignment, according to the statement

displayed; Pass the objected metal through the WTMD with a person

without any other metal object, when the traffic-light is green,

3- Repeat the procedure in

# 2 -3/2,

4- Repeat the procedure in

# 2-3/3,

5- Thus the WTMD determines the approximate size of the metal that

you’ve passed 3 times and inquires whether you want a general or

zone assignment,

6- If the general assignment is being selected, the unit repeats

procedure 4.1.1 itself.

7- Select the zone and assign by repeating the procedure 4.1.1.

NOTE: Make sure there are no moving metals near the WTMD

and make sure that there are not any moving metals or

passing any metal through the WTMD also avoid touching, shaking the panels, while

the sensitivity assignment procedures.

NOTE: You cannot return to normal operating mode unless the whole assignment

procedure is completed at the self Designation AD) MENU completely,.

4.1.4 ALARM VOLUME & TONE ADJUSTMENT

ThruScan has 10 separate alarm volume levels, in 10 different tones from 1(quietest) to

10(loudest) as well as 00, which disables the audible alarm tone (but not the visual indication).

The Factory default alarm volume setting is = 05

The Factory default tone setting is = 09

The alarm volume can be set as follows:

1. Press UP&DOWN buttons from the MENU until the ALARM

VOLUME sub-MENU option is displayed,

2. Current Alarm Volume will be displayed, (i.e. 05 displayed),

3. Use UP&DOWN buttons to reach the required volume setting,

4. To fix the alarm volume press the SEL(√) button then “TONE” will be automatically

displayed,

5. Use UP&DOWN buttons to reach the required tone type,

6. Press SEL(√) button to select and fix the setting.

Press UP&DOWN buttons to move to the next sub-MENU option or press RUN(X) button to store

the changes and thus return to the normal operating mode.
